Florida Pro Baseball Teams Overview

Florida is home to two MLB teams: the Miami Marlins and the Tampa Bay Rays. The Marlins play at loanDepot park in Miami and compete in the National League East. The Rays play at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg. They compete in the American League East.
The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, a Triple-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins, play home games at VyStar Ballpark in the International League East Division. The Pensacola Blue Wahoos, a Double-A Marlins affiliate, play home games at Blue Wahoos Stadium in the Southern League South Division.
The Major League Baseball (MLB) regular season runs from late March through September. Triple-A Minor League Baseball (MiLB) schedules generally run from March through September, while Double-A seasons typically run from April through September.
