Florida Pro Baseball Teams Overview

Follow Florida Pro Baseball Teams during the regular season (April–September), including Major League Baseball (MLB) and Minor League Baseball (MiLB) clubs. Access maps, photos, weather, and team information.

First, Florida hosts two Major League Baseball clubs. The Miami Marlins (National League) play at loanDepot Park in Miami. The Tampa Bay Rays (American League) played their 2025 home games at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa after Tropicana Field sustained damage. They normally play at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg and plan to return there for the 2026 season.

The state has two Minor League teams competing in nationwide leagues. The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (Triple-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins) play at VyStar Ballpark, while the Pensacola Blue Wahoos (Double-A affiliate of the Marlins) play at Blue Wahoos Stadium. These teams travel for road games across the country but host regular-season matchups in Florida. Additionally, both Jacksonville and Pensacola have rich baseball traditions, with passionate local fanbases supporting teams that have served as stepping stones for future Major League players.

Additionally, for leagues that play only in Florida, the Grapefruit League (MLB), Florida State League (FSL), and Florida Complex League (FCL), see their pages.
