Miami Marlins – MLB
The Miami Marlins are one of two Major League Baseball (MLB) teams based in Florida. They compete in the National League East and play home games at loanDepot park in Miami. This page features ballpark photos, a map, official team links, and Miami weather information.
A three-panel retractable roof spans nearly eight acres. Each section operates independently to prevent pressure buildup during hurricanes. Glass walls in the outfield frame expansive skyline views. Colorful tiled walkways and a Bobblehead Museum add distinctive character throughout the venue. International events like the World Baseball Classic take place at the park. These contests showcase top global talent.
Located inland, the ballpark remains within easy driving distance of Biscayne Bay, Miami’s beaches, and major city attractions. During MLB Spring Training, the Marlins train at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Jupiter, Florida. About 80 miles north of loanDepot park, Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium serves as the Marlins’ Spring Training home.
Minor League Affiliates in Florida
Beyond the MLB club and Spring Training operations, the Marlins operate several Florida-based minor league affiliates. The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp serve as the Triple-A affiliate on Florida’s northeast coast. In the Florida Panhandle, the Pensacola Blue Wahoos serve as the Double-A affiliate. The Jupiter Hammerheads are the Single-A team, sharing Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium. In the Florida Complex League (FCL), the Marlins field a rookie-level team called the FCL Marlins.
