FCL Mets – Florida Complex League
The Florida Complex League (FCL) Mets are a rookie-level team. They are a Minor League Baseball (MiLB) affiliate of the New York Mets. Most home games take place on backfields behind the main ballpark. Admission is free, with small bleachers or standing room along the fences. Major leaguers on rehab assignments occasionally use the same fields, giving visiting fans an up-close look. Light attendance and minimal distractions give fans a personal view of player development. Most weeks feature games Monday through Saturday.
The backfields are visible from the upper level beyond the left-field wall. The complex also serves as a site for instructional leagues, providing prospects additional development time beyond the regular season.
Several teams share the St. Lucie Sports Complex. Clover Park, within the facility, hosts Spring Training for the New York Mets. The Florida State League (FSL) affiliate, the St. Lucie Mets, trains at the site.
