Florida Pro Baseball Teams Overview

Florida is home to two MLB teams: the Miami Marlins and the Tampa Bay Rays. The Marlins play at loanDepot park in Miami and compete in the National League East. The Rays play at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg. They compete in the American League East.
A Triple-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins, the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp play home games at VyStar Ballpark. They compete in the International League East Division. The Pensacola Blue Wahoos, a Double-A Marlins affiliate, play home games at Blue Wahoos Stadium. They compete in the Southern League South Division.
The MLB regular season runs from late March through September. Triple-A schedules generally run from March through September. Double-A seasons typically run from April through September.
