Grapefruit League Tickets
Each spring, fans head to Florida to watch their favorite MLB clubs prepare for the season in the Grapefruit League. Spring Training offers a relaxed atmosphere, smaller ballparks, and opportunities to see star players and prospects in action. This guide brings together ticket resources and venue information to support planning a 2026 visit.
The 2026 exhibition season begins on February 20 with the New York Yankees facing the Baltimore Orioles. By the end of opening weekend, every club will have taken the field. Daily action continues across Florida through March.
Special events round out the spring schedule. The schedule includes exhibition matchups between Major League clubs and World Baseball Classic national teams (March 3–4). Spring Breakout prospect showcase games take place from March 19–22.
Grapefruit League teams stretch across Florida’s Atlantic and Gulf coasts. Three Atlantic Coast cities host Grapefruit League teams: Jupiter, Port St. Lucie, and West Palm Beach. The Gulf Coast region includes Bradenton, Clearwater, Dunedin, North Port, Sarasota, and Tampa. Additional sites are in Fort Myers, Port Charlotte, and inland Lakeland.
A Florida Spring Training game offers a more personal baseball experience. Popular weekend games can still sell out quickly, so planning ahead helps. Arrive early to avoid parking crowds and catch batting practice. Some Florida complexes also open early for morning workouts. Florida ballparks feel fan friendly and easy to explore after a few innings. Keep lineup expectations flexible. Rosters change often, so favorite players may appear briefly or miss the game. Teams sometimes play split squad games in different Florida cities on the same day.
When planning a Grapefruit League visit, keep in mind that ticket availability and pricing vary by location. Most clubs offer a mix of season plans, single-game tickets, and premium seating. Checking official team sources early is a reliable way to secure preferred dates and seating locations.
