FCL Rays – Florida Complex League
The Florida Complex League (FCL) Rays are a rookie-level team. They are a Minor League Baseball (MiLB) affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays. The team competes in the FCL South Division at Charlotte Sports Park in Port Charlotte, Florida. Explore facility photos, view the map, access official FCL links, and check Port Charlotte weather.
Most home games take place on the practice fields. Admission is free, with limited seating and amenities. Small crowds put fans close to the action. The FCL Rays play up to six days a week from Monday through Saturday.
Charlotte Sports Park spans 82 acres and includes five full practice diamonds plus a half field for infield drills. All fields feature natural grass, and indoor batting cages beside the practice fields allow training in all weather conditions. The complex gives rookie players a professional environment to develop before advancing through the system.
The ballpark serves the Rays’ organization for Spring Training. Each spring, the facility hosts the Tampa Bay Rays as part of the Grapefruit League.
