Daytona Tortugas – Florida State League
The Daytona Tortugas are a Single-A Florida State League (FSL) team. They are a Minor League Baseball (MiLB) affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. The team competes in the FSL East Division and plays at Jackie Robinson Ballpark in Daytona Beach, Florida. Explore ballpark photos, view the map, access official FSL links, and check Daytona Beach weather.
Jackie Robinson Ballpark, opened in 1914, is one of the oldest MiLB ballparks still in use. Jackie Robinson played his first professional game there on March 17, 1946, with the Montreal Royals. In 1989, officials renamed the ballpark in his honor. That game came before Robinson broke Major League Baseball’s color barrier in 1947.
Spanish-style architecture and views of the Halifax River preserve the historic character of the site. Indoor batting cages, clubhouses, and training areas serve player development needs. The ballpark features a mix of traditional grandstand seating, box seats, and shaded viewing areas along the main concourse.
Daytona Tortugas host recurring promotions throughout the season. Silver Sluggers Tuesdays feature a membership program with special perks and designated game experiences. Belly Buster Wednesdays bundle game admission with unlimited ballpark favorites, including hot dogs, pizza, and popcorn. Thursdays include Taps and Tacos with rotating taco specials and half-price drafts. Select Friday games feature postgame fireworks. Sheldon’s Family Fun Pack provides activities for Sunday attendees. Single-A admission is typically the most affordable level in MiLB. Choose from single-game, season, and group ticket options on the official website.
Most Florida State League teams share training complexes with their parent clubs. Many facilities host both an FSL team and a Florida Complex League (FCL) affiliate. The Cincinnati Reds, parent club of the Tortugas, hold Spring Training in Arizona in the Cactus League. No FCL team plays at Jackie Robinson Ballpark.
