FCL Phillies – Florida Complex League
The Florida Complex League (FCL) Phillies are a rookie-level team. They are a Minor League Baseball (MiLB) affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. The team competes in the FCL North Division at the Carpenter Complex in Clearwater, Florida. Explore facility photos, view the map, access official FCL links, and check Clearwater weather.
Games usually take place on practice diamonds, with the main ballpark reserved for select occasions. Admission is free, seating is limited, and crowds are small. Watch drills, preparation, and live play in a close-up development setting. Most weeks feature games Monday through Saturday.
Adjacent to BayCare Ballpark, the Carpenter Complex serves as the Phillies’ year-round player development headquarters. Four full baseball fields host training and game activity at the complex. Indoor batting cages keep players active even during poor weather. The four fields honor Phillies Hall of Famers Rich Ashburn, Robin Roberts, Mike Schmidt, and Steve Carlton. The Carpenter Complex consolidates the Phillies’ previously scattered Florida operations into a single campus. On-site weight rooms and recovery areas round out the training environment.
BayCare Ballpark hosts Spring Training for the parent club, the Philadelphia Phillies. The Florida State League (FSL) Clearwater Threshers play at the same ballpark.
