FCL Orioles – Florida Complex League

The Florida Complex League (FCL) Orioles are a rookie-level team. They are a Minor League Baseball (MiLB) affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. The team competes in the FCL South Division. The team plays at Ed Smith Stadium and the nearby Buck O’Neil Baseball Complex in Sarasota, Florida. Explore facility photos, view the map, access official FCL links, and check Sarasota weather.

When games take place in the main stadium, seating may be limited to select areas of the ballpark. Many fans naturally gravitate to the top rows, where the overhang provides shade in hot, humid conditions. Games on the practice fields offer limited or no seating. Admission is free, and attendance remains generally light. The Orioles play up to six days a week from Monday through Saturday.

At Twin Lakes Park, the Buck O’Neil Baseball Complex hosts the Orioles’ MiLB training site. Named for Negro Leagues legend Buck O’Neil, the complex features five lighted baseball diamonds. The facility serves as the team’s base for extended Spring Training and rehabilitation assignments. Outdoor and indoor batting cages, bullpen areas, umpire rooms, and a cafeteria give players everything they need on site.

Ed Smith Stadium serves as the Orioles’ Spring Training home. The stadium hosts the Baltimore Orioles each spring as part of the Grapefruit League.
