Boston Red Sox – Grapefruit League

The Boston Red Sox, a Major League Baseball (MLB) team, hold Spring Training at JetBlue Park at Fenway South in Fort Myers, Florida. As part of the Grapefruit League, the Red Sox train here each spring before the regular season. Explore ballpark photos, view the map, access official MLB links, and check Fort Myers weather.

JetBlue Park replicates Fenway Park, complete with the Green Monster in left field and a hand-operated scoreboard. The Pesky Pole stands in right field at the same 302-foot distance as the original. Players train in conditions that mirror their regular-season environment while adapting to Fenway-specific quirks. A grass berm beyond the outfield fence offers a relaxed alternative to fixed seating. Across the 106-acre complex, six supplementary practice diamonds accommodate minor league affiliates during extended Spring Training.

Fort Myers Beach stretches along the coast 17 miles west, with downtown Fort Myers about 13 miles away. The Edison and Ford Winter Estates are 13 miles away and offer one of Fort Myers’ top attractions. Hammond Stadium, home of the Twins, is just 6 miles from the ballpark. Enjoy both Spring Training venues in one convenient trip.

As the regular season opens, the Red Sox compete in the American League. During the summer, the Florida Complex League (FCL) holds its season, and the FCL Red Sox play at JetBlue Park.
