Houston Astros – Grapefruit League
The Houston Astros, a Major League Baseball (MLB) team, hold Spring Training at CACTI Park of the Palm Beaches in West Palm Beach, Florida. As part of the Grapefruit League, the Astros train here each spring before the regular season. Explore ballpark photos, view the map, access official MLB links, and check West Palm Beach weather.
CACTI Park of the Palm Beaches is a dual-tenant facility that hosts both the Astros and the Nationals. The ballpark features a 360-degree concourse for fans and covered batting tunnels for players. Several training fields use synthetic turf, but the main ballpark and multipurpose areas remain natural grass. Separate clubhouses give each team private space within the shared complex. Plaza areas throughout the complex bring fans from both organizations together before and after games.
West Palm Beach puts fans near Atlantic Coast attractions. Palm Beach sits 9 miles away, and Juno Beach lies 13 miles to the north. Downtown West Palm Beach and CityPlace feature shops, restaurants, entertainment venues, and plazas near the Intracoastal Waterway. The Norton Museum of Art, one of Florida’s largest art museums, lies about 3 miles from the ballpark.
With Spring Training complete, the Astros compete in the American League. During the summer, the Florida Complex League (FCL) holds its season. The FCL Astros and the FCL Nationals play their home games at the complex.
