Atlanta Braves – Grapefruit League

The Atlanta Braves, a Major League Baseball (MLB) team, hold Spring Training at CoolToday Park in North Port, Florida. As part of the Grapefruit League, the Braves train here each spring before the regular season. Explore ballpark photos, view the map, access official MLB links, and check North Port weather.

CoolToday Park in North Port anchors the Braves’ Florida operations. The ballpark opened in 2019 as one of the newer Spring Training facilities in the league. The main stadium seats approximately 8,200 fans and includes premium club areas along the first-base line. Six outdoor practice fields surround the main playing surface, which matches the dimensions of their regular-season home stadium. Walk the 360-degree concourse and use the outfield berm for flexible viewing options. Visit the tiki bar in left field for a gathering space with views of the playing surface.

Venice, about 15 miles north, attracts visitors with its shark tooth beaches and walkable downtown. The ballpark sits about 10 miles from Manasota Beach and 12 from Venice Beach. Warm Mineral Springs, a natural thermal spring near the stadium in North Port, offers a place to relax.

With Spring Training complete, the Braves compete in the National League. During the summer, the Florida Complex League (FCL) holds its season, and the FCL Braves play at CoolToday Park.
