Florida Pro Baseball Teams Overview
Follow Florida Pro Baseball Teams during the regular season (April–September), including Major League Baseball (MLB) and Minor League Baseball (MiLB) clubs. Access maps, photos, weather, and team information.
First, Florida has two Major League Baseball clubs. The Miami Marlins (National League) play at loanDepot Park in Miami. The Tampa Bay Rays (American League) held their 2025 home games at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa after damage to Tropicana Field. They normally play at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg. The Rays are scheduled to return to Tropicana Field for the 2026 season.
Florida also has two MiLB teams competing in nationwide leagues. The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (Triple-A affiliate of the Marlins) play at VyStar Ballpark, while the Pensacola Blue Wahoos (Double-A affiliate of the Marlins) play at Blue Wahoos Stadium on the Gulf Coast.
Moreover, teams on this page differ from the leagues that play exclusively in Florida. These MLB and MiLB clubs compete nationwide, traveling for road games while also hosting regular-season matchups in Florida.
Additionally, for leagues that play only in Florida, the Grapefruit League (MLB), Florida State League (FSL), and Florida Complex League (FCL), see their pages.
