Grapefruit League Overview
Florida Pro Baseball follows Grapefruit League teams in Florida. Fans can access schedules, interactive maps, photos, and links to official Major League Baseball (MLB) team sites.
The league features fifteen MLB teams for Spring Training (February–March), including eight from the American League and seven from the National League. Moreover, fans can see both MLB stars and top prospects competing for roster spots.
On Florida’s east coast along the Atlantic, teams play in Jupiter — home to the Miami Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals — as well as in Port St. Lucie, where the New York Mets are based, and in West Palm Beach, spring home of the Houston Astros and Washington Nationals.
Meanwhile, on the west coast along the Gulf — plus nearby central Florida — Spring Training takes place in Bradenton (Pittsburgh Pirates), Clearwater (Philadelphia Phillies), Dunedin (Toronto Blue Jays), Fort Myers (Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins), North Port (Atlanta Braves), Port Charlotte (Tampa Bay Rays), Sarasota (Baltimore Orioles), and Tampa (New York Yankees), with Lakeland — home of the Detroit Tigers — located slightly inland between Tampa and Orlando.
