2026 MLB Regular Season Schedule
Get ready for the 2026 Major League Baseball (MLB) regular season in Florida as the Miami Marlins and Tampa Bay Rays prepare for the earliest traditional Opening Day in baseball history. While the season officially kicks off with a standalone “Opening Night” between the Giants and Yankees on Wednesday, March 25, Florida’s teams will begin their campaigns shortly after.
The home opener for the Marlins is March 27 against Colorado.
The Tampa Bay Rays open the season with a nine-game road trip to St. Louis, Milwaukee, and Minnesota. They return to Tropicana Field for their home opener on April 6 against the Chicago Cubs.
The Marlins and Rays are scheduled to play two three-game interleague series. The first runs May 15 through 17 at Tropicana Field, home of the Rays in St. Petersburg. The second runs June 5 through 7 at loanDepot park, home of the Miami Marlins. MLB schedules the regular season to conclude on September 27, 2026.
