MLB Regular Season Schedule
The Miami Marlins and Tampa Bay Rays open the 2026 MLB season in Florida on baseball’s earliest Opening Day. It officially kicks off with a standalone “Opening Night” between the Giants and Yankees on Wednesday, March 25. Florida teams typically begin their regular season campaign in late March.
Miami’s home opener is March 27 against Colorado Rockies.
The Tampa Bay Rays open the season with a nine-game road trip to St. Louis, Milwaukee, and Minnesota. They return to Tropicana Field for their April 6 opener against the Chicago Cubs.
Both teams meet in two three-game interleague series. The first takes place May 15 through 17 at Tropicana Field, home of the Rays in St. Petersburg.
The second runs June 5 through 7 at loanDepot park, where the Miami Marlins play. MLB schedules the regular season to conclude on September 27, 2026.
