MLB Regular Season Schedule

The 2026 Major League Baseball (MLB) season officially begins with “Opening Night” as the Giants face the Yankees on Wednesday, March 25. The Miami Marlins and Tampa Bay Rays open their Florida schedules on later dates.

Opening weekend for the Marlins is March 27, hosting the Colorado Rockies at loanDepot park.

The Rays begin with a nine-game road trip to St. Louis, Milwaukee, and Minnesota. They play at Busch Stadium, American Family Field, and Target Field. The Rays return home to Tropicana Field on April 6 against the Chicago Cubs. Home openers typically include pregame ceremonies and fan events.

Florida teams meet in two three-game interleague series. The first occurs May 15–17 at Tropicana Field. The second takes place June 5–7 at loanDepot park. These matchups give local fans exciting chances to watch both teams compete. The regular season ends September 27, 2026, after 162 games per team. Fans can follow the Marlins and Rays as they chase divisional standings, leading to postseason play.
