2026 MLB Regular Season Schedule
Florida Pro Baseball covers the Major League Baseball (MLB) teams in Florida. They are the Miami Marlins and the Tampa Bay Rays.
The 2026 MLB season begins with Opening Night on Wednesday, March 25. The San Francisco Giants will face the New York Yankees. The remaining 28 teams start play on Thursday, March 26. This marks the earliest traditional Opening Day in MLB history.
The Marlins will open their season at home against the Colorado Rockies on Thursday, March 26. Local fans are in for an exciting start.
The Tampa Bay Rays open the season with a nine-game road trip to St. Louis, Milwaukee, and Minnesota. They return to Tropicana Field for their home opener on April 6 against the Chicago Cubs. Crews are repairing the roof, but completing the full restoration of Tropicana Field remains an ambitious goal.
The Marlins and Rays will face each other in two three-game interleague series. The first takes place from May 15 to 17 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg. The second will be held from June 5 to 7 at LoanDepot Park in Miami. The regular season concludes on September 27, 2026.
