The Baltimore Orioles kicked off their 2025 Spring Training in Sarasota, Florida. They are preparing for the 2025 MLB season. Pitchers and catchers reported on February 12. Soon after, on-field workouts took place on Thursday, February 13. The Orioles are celebrating their 16th spring training season in Sarasota.
The new ownership group of the Orioles arrived in Sarasota for Spring Training. In March 2024, MLB owners unanimously approved David Rubenstein’s group to take control of the team.
Furthermore, the Orioles have recently unveiled plans to expand their presence at the Ed Smith Stadium Complex. They are committing over $21 million of team funds to develop a cutting-edge player performance center.
