2026 MLB Spring Training Schedule

Pitchers and Catchers Report
Major League Baseball has released Spring Training plans for 2026. First, pitchers and catchers report in mid-February, with full squads following soon after.
Spring Training Games Begin
Then, games begin on Thursday, February 20. That day features Yankees versus Orioles in Florida, along with two exhibition contests. A full slate of games starts on Friday, February 21, with all 30 MLB teams taking the field. Games continue on Saturday, February 22.
MLB vs. International Teams
Shortly after, fans in Florida will see MLB clubs face international teams. Additionally, Arizona hosts games. These exhibitions help World Baseball Classic teams prepare for 2026. In total, 28 games will take place, 14 each on March 3 and 4.
Spring Breakout Prospects Series
Following the international exhibition matchups, the Spring Breakout returns March 19 through 22 in Florida. The event showcases the top prospects from MLB in 16 games. Each organization plays at least one contest, while the Brewers and Phillies play two games to balance the schedule. Overall, these games highlight elite talent, and fans can expect exciting hitter versus pitcher matchups.
Final Games Before Opening Day
Many teams will play their final Spring Training or exhibition games in Florida on March 23 and 24. Afterward, the regular season begins on Wednesday, March 25, when the Giants host the Yankees.
