Florida Complex League Champions

The Florida Complex League (FCL) Blue Jays are a rookie-level team in the FCL North Division. They are affiliated with the Toronto Blue Jays. On July 28, 2025, the FCL Blue Jays won the league championship. They defeated the FCL Twins 7–5 in Game 2 at Lee Health Sports Complex in Fort Myers. The title marked the team’s first championship in franchise history and capped a strong developmental season.

The 2025 regular season ran from May to late July. During that stretch, the Blue Jays finished 36–23. They secured a wild card spot in the postseason with one of the league’s top records.

In Game 2, Samuel Colmenares started for the Blue Jays. Dylan Leach hit a bases-clearing double in the fourth inning. The Twins tied the game in the bottom half.

Aldo Gaxiola drove in two runs in the seventh inning. Insurance runs in the eighth extended the lead. Diego Dominguez pitched the final out with a flyout in the ninth.

The Blue Jays swept the championship series to win their first FCL title.
