2027 Florida MLB Schedule: Tampa Bay Rays and Miami Marlins
The 2027 Major League Baseball (MLB) season begins with a standalone Opening Night matchup on Wednesday, March 24. Netflix will exclusively stream the game. The following day, Florida’s Tampa Bay Rays and Miami Marlins open their seasons. Thursday, March 25, marks the earliest traditional Opening Day in MLB history.
The Rays enter their 30th Major League season at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg. They open with consecutive home series against the Baltimore Orioles and Los Angeles Angels.
The Miami Marlins will launch a six-game opening homestand at loanDepot park. They open with a three-game divisional series against the New York Mets. The homestand continues with a three-game set against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Florida baseball fans can look forward to the annual Citrus Series. It features two three-game series between the Rays and Marlins. The Marlins host the first series at loanDepot park from July 16–18. The Rays host the second series at Tropicana Field from September 10–12.
The 162-game regular season ends for both teams on Sunday, September 26. The Marlins finish on the road against the Atlanta Braves. The Rays close out their season with a road trip to Boston and Toronto.
