2026 MLB Regular Season Schedule
Florida Pro Baseball covers the Major League Baseball (MLB) teams in Florida: the Miami Marlins and the Tampa Bay Rays.
The 2026 MLB season begins with Opening Night on Wednesday, March 25. The San Francisco Giants will face the New York Yankees. The remaining 28 teams start play on Thursday, March 26. This marks the earliest traditional Opening Day in MLB history.
The Marlins will open their season at home against the Colorado Rockies on Thursday, March 26. Local fans are in for an exciting start.
The Tampa Bay Rays will begin the season with a nine-game road trip to St. Louis, Milwaukee, and Minnesota. They are scheduled to return to Tropicana Field for their home opener on April 6 against the Chicago Cubs. While roof repairs are underway, the full restoration of Tropicana Field remains ambitious.
The Marlins and Rays will play each other in two three-game interleague series:
May 15–17 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg
June 5–7 at LoanDepot Park in Miami
The regular season ends on September 27, 2026.
