2025 MLB Spring Breakout Details
Florida Pro Baseball covers Grapefruit League teams in Florida.
Major League Baseball (MLB) will return with its Spring Training event, “Spring Breakout,” scheduled for March 13–16, 2025. During this four-day showcase, all 30 MLB teams will feature many of their top prospects in exhibition games against elite prospects from other organizations.
Spring Breakout debuted in 2024, and 95 players who participated in that inaugural event went on to appear in the Majors during the 2024 season.
MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred emphasized the event’s purpose, highlighting how it spotlights emerging talent and strengthens collaboration between Major League Baseball and Minor League Baseball. MLB will announce rosters at a later date, and all eligible prospects can participate, regardless of their Minor League experience.
