Charlotte Sports Park in Port Charlotte, Florida, has been the Rays’ Spring Training home for many years, establishing a steady presence in the area. A 360-degree concourse allows fans to walk completely around the playing field and change viewing angles throughout the game. A grass berm in left field offers affordable seating, while the outfield boardwalk tiki bar serves tropical drinks with views of the action. Indoor training facilities include batting cages connected to the practice fields, supporting year-round player development regardless of weather. The ballpark sits roughly 20 miles from Englewood Beach and other Gulf Coast shorelines, giving visitors the option to pair baseball with coastal time.
After Spring Training, the regular-season Tampa Bay Rays play their home games at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida, and compete in the American League.
During the summer, the Florida Complex League (FCL) runs its season, and the FCL Rays play at Charlotte Sports Park.
