Houston Astros – Grapefruit League
The Houston Astros hold Spring Training at CACTI Park of the Palm Beaches in West Palm Beach, Florida. As part of the Grapefruit League, the Astros train here each spring before the regular season. This page includes photos and a map of the ballpark, links to official Major League Baseball (MLB) resources, and West Palm Beach weather information.
CACTI Park of the Palm Beaches is a dual-tenant facility accommodating Spring Training for both the Astros and Nationals. The ballpark features a 360-degree concourse and covered batting tunnels that shield players from the afternoon sun. Several training fields use synthetic turf, but most facilities, including the main ballpark and multipurpose areas, remain natural grass. Separate clubhouses give each team its own space while sharing the complex efficiently. Plaza areas throughout the complex bring fans from both organizations together before and after games.
West Palm Beach puts fans a short drive from several Atlantic Coast attractions. Fans can visit Palm Beach and Juno Beach, a short drive away, to pair a game with oceanfront sightseeing. Downtown West Palm Beach and CityPlace feature shops, restaurants, entertainment venues, and plazas near the Intracoastal Waterway.
After Spring Training, the Astros compete in the American League. During the summer, the Florida Complex League (FCL) hosts the FCL Astros and FCL Nationals.
