Boston Red Sox – Grapefruit League
The Boston Red Sox hold Spring Training at JetBlue Park at Fenway South in Fort Myers, Florida. As part of the Grapefruit League, the Red Sox train here each spring before the regular season. This page includes photos and a map of the ballpark, links to official Major League Baseball (MLB) resources, and Fort Myers weather information.
JetBlue Park replicates Fenway Park, complete with the Green Monster in left field and manual scoreboard operators. The Pesky Pole stands in right field at the same 302-foot distance as the original. Players train in conditions that mirror their regular-season environment while adapting to Fenway-specific quirks. A grass berm beyond the outfield fence offers a relaxed alternative to fixed seating. Across the 106-acre complex, six supplementary practice diamonds accommodate minor league affiliates during extended Spring Training.
The ballpark sits less than 14 miles from downtown Fort Myers and about 17 miles from Fort Myers Beach. Hammond Stadium, the Twins’ Grapefruit League home, lies just six miles away. Fans can attend games at both ballparks during the same trip.
After Spring Training, the Red Sox compete in the American League. During the summer, the Florida Complex League (FCL) runs its season, and the FCL Red Sox play at JetBlue Park.
