Atlanta Braves – Grapefruit League
The Atlanta Braves hold Spring Training at CoolToday Park in North Port, Florida. As part of the Grapefruit League, the Braves train here each spring before the regular season. This page includes photos and a map of the ballpark, links to official Major League Baseball (MLB) resources, and North Port weather information.
CoolToday Park in North Port anchors the Braves’ Florida operations. The ballpark opened in 2019 as one of the newer Spring Training facilities in the league. Six outdoor practice fields surround the main playing surface, which matches the dimensions of their regular-season home stadium. A 360-degree concourse and outfield berm provide fans with flexible viewing options around the park. A tiki bar in left field offers gathering areas with views of the action. Outside the ballpark, a plaza displays the organization’s retired numbers for fans to explore.
The facility is about 10 miles from Manasota Beach and 12 miles from Venice Beach. Venice, about 15 miles north, is known for shark tooth hunting along its shoreline and a walkable downtown. Warm Mineral Springs, a natural thermal spring near the stadium in North Port, offers a place to relax.
After Spring Training, the Braves compete in the National League. During the summer, the Florida Complex League (FCL) runs its season, and the FCL Braves play their home games at CoolToday Park.
