Daytona Tortugas – Florida State League

The Daytona Tortugas are a Single-A Florida State League (FSL) team affiliated with the Cincinnati Reds. They compete in the FSL East Division and play home games at Jackie Robinson Ballpark in Daytona Beach, Florida. This page includes photos and a map of the ballpark, links to official FSL resources, and Daytona Beach weather information.

Opened in 1914, Jackie Robinson Ballpark is Minor League Baseball’s oldest continuously operating venue. Jackie Robinson broke professional baseball’s color barrier here in 1946, and the ballpark was later renamed in his honor. The Spanish-style architecture and Halifax River views preserve the historic character of the site. Renovations added indoor batting cages, new clubhouses, training areas, and upgraded seating and restrooms. The playing surface was also converted to synthetic turf, improving consistency and playability during Florida’s rainy season.

Silver Slugger Tuesdays offer perks for senior fans, and Belly Buster Wednesdays feature unlimited concessions. Thirsty Thursdays bring drink specials, and select Fridays close with postgame fireworks. Sheldon’s Family Fun Pack makes Sundays a family-friendly option. Ticket options include individual games, season plans, and group outings. The team’s official website has the latest schedules and ticket information.

Most Florida State League teams share training complexes with their parent clubs. Many facilities host both an FSL team and a Florida Complex League (FCL) affiliate. The Cincinnati Reds, parent club of the Tortugas, hold Spring Training in Arizona in the Cactus League. No FCL team plays at Jackie Robinson Ballpark.
