Clearwater Threshers – Florida State League
The Clearwater Threshers are a Single-A Florida State League (FSL) team affiliated with the Philadelphia Phillies. They compete in the FSL West Division and play home games at BayCare Ballpark in Clearwater, Florida. This page includes photos and a map of the ballpark, links to official FSL resources, and Clearwater weather information.
BayCare Ballpark opened in 2004 as part of the Phillies’ Carpenter Complex training campus. The stadium features a 360-degree concourse that allows fans to walk the perimeter while watching the game. A grass berm stretches across much of the outfield. Bullpens built into the berm give spectators an up-close view of pitchers during warmups. In left field, Frenchy’s tiki-style pavilion overlooks the bullpen. Additional amenities include picnic terraces, party suites, and a large team store.
Dollar Tuesdays offer discounted concessions and berm tickets. Silver Sharks Wednesdays cater to fans 55 and older. Taps and Tacos Thursdays feature half-price beverages. Beach Dogs Fridays welcome dogs to the ballpark. Saturday home games close with postgame fireworks. The team’s official website lists current schedules and ticket options.
The Threshers train at the Carpenter Complex. Their parent team, the Philadelphia Phillies, hold Spring Training at both the Carpenter Complex and BayCare Ballpark. During the summer, the Florida Complex League (FCL) runs its season, and the FCL Phillies compete at the Carpenter Complex.
