FCL Tigers – Florida Complex League
The Florida Complex League (FCL) Tigers are a rookie-level team affiliated with the Detroit Tigers. They compete in the FCL North Division. The team plays at the TigerTown Complex in Lakeland, Florida. This page includes photos and a map of the facility, links to official FCL resources, and Lakeland weather information.
When the FCL Tigers host games, they play in the main stadium or on adjacent practice fields depending on scheduling. Admission is typically free and games draw modest crowds. The Tigers play up to six days a week from Monday through Saturday. Fans can sometimes watch both workouts and competitive games during the same visit.
Four practice diamonds arranged in a cloverleaf layout form the core of TigerTown’s minor league complex. A central observation tower gives player-development staff a 360-degree view of all field activity. Two additional practice diamonds anchor opposite ends of the complex. Al Kaline Field, behind the main stadium’s left-field berm, serves as the primary practice diamond. Hank Greenberg Field sits near the TigerTown entrance gate.
The facility also hosts other teams. Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium is the Spring Training home of the parent team, the Detroit Tigers. The Florida State League (FSL) Lakeland Flying Tigers play their home games at the same stadium.
