FCL Phillies – Florida Complex League

The Florida Complex League (FCL) Phillies are a rookie-level Minor League Baseball team in the FCL North Division affiliated with the Philadelphia Phillies. The team plays at the Carpenter Complex in Clearwater, Florida. This page includes photos and a map of the complex, links to official FCL resources, and Clearwater weather information.

Matchups are usually played on practice diamonds rather than in a traditional stadium setting. Admission is typically free, seating is limited, and crowds are small. The layout provides an up-close look at drills, preparation, and live play within a development-centered environment. Adjacent to BayCare Ballpark, the Carpenter Complex functions as the Phillies’ year-round player development headquarters. Indoor batting cages allow for practice regardless of weather, while multiple outdoor fields accommodate minor league training. Weight rooms and recovery areas ensure players receive comprehensive support, unifying the Phillies’ previously scattered Florida operations into a single, efficient campus.

The Carpenter Complex is also used by other teams. Their parent team, the Philadelphia Phillies, and the Florida State League (FSL) Clearwater Threshers share BayCare Ballpark.
