FCL Phillies – Florida Complex League
The Florida Complex League (FCL) Phillies are a rookie-level affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies in the FCL North Division. Home games take place at the Carpenter Complex in Clearwater, Florida. Explore facility photos, a map, official FCL links, and Clearwater weather information.
Games usually take place on practice diamonds, with the main stadium reserved for select occasions. Admission is free, seating is limited, and crowds are small. Games follow a Monday through Saturday schedule. Four full baseball fields host training and game activity at the complex. Fans can watch drills, preparation, and live play in a development setting.
Adjacent to BayCare Ballpark, the Carpenter Complex serves as the Phillies’ year-round player development headquarters. Indoor batting cages keep players active even during poor weather. Four practice fields honor Phillies Hall of Famers Rich Ashburn, Robin Roberts, Mike Schmidt, and Steve Carlton. The Carpenter Complex consolidates the Phillies’ previously scattered Florida operations into a single campus. On-site weight rooms and recovery areas round out the training environment.
Their parent team, the Philadelphia Phillies, use the ballpark for Spring Training. The Florida State League (FSL) Clearwater Threshers play at BayCare Ballpark.
