FCL Orioles – Florida Complex League

The Florida Complex League (FCL) Orioles are a rookie-level Minor League Baseball team in the FCL South Division affiliated with the Baltimore Orioles. The team plays at Ed Smith Stadium and the nearby Buck O’Neil Baseball Complex in Sarasota, Florida. This page includes photos and maps of both facilities, links to official FCL resources, and Sarasota weather information.

Games are held at the stadium while development activities extend across the adjacent complex. Admission is typically free, and attendance is generally light. Fans may access standard seating depending on the event, combining a major league facility with rookie-level atmosphere.

Located at Twin Lakes Park on Clark Road in Sarasota, approximately 11 miles from Ed Smith Stadium, the Buck O’Neil Baseball Complex serves as the Baltimore Orioles’ year-round minor league training headquarters. Named after Negro Leagues legend Buck O’Neil, the venue features five lighted baseball diamonds, outdoor and indoor batting cages, bullpen areas, umpire rooms, and a cafeteria. The complex supports extended Spring Training and serves as a rehabilitation site for injured players.

Ed Smith Stadium also serves the Orioles organization for Spring Training, hosting the Baltimore Orioles each spring.
