The Yankees hold Spring Training at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, Hillsborough County, Florida. They also use the New York Yankees Player Development and Scouting Complex.
After Spring Training, the Yankees compete in the American League. The Steinbrenner Field complex also hosts the Florida State League (FSL) team, the Tampa Tarpons. During the summer, the Florida Complex League (FCL) runs its season, and the FCL Yankees use the Player Development and Scouting Complex.
