2025 MLB Spring Breakout Details

Major League Baseball (MLB) previously announced the return of its Spring Training event, “Spring Breakout,” scheduled for March 13-16, 2025. During this four-day event, all 30 MLB teams will showcase many of their top prospects in exhibition games against the top prospects from other organizations.
The inaugural season of Spring Breakout took place in 2024. A total of 95 players who participated in March’s inaugural event went on to appear in the Majors during the 2024 season.
MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred emphasized the event’s purpose, highlighting its role in showcasing emerging talent and strengthening the collaboration between Major League Baseball and Minor League Baseball. Rosters will be announced at a later date, and eligibility is open to prospects regardless of their Minor League experience.
