2025 MLB Spring Training Schedule

Florida Pro Baseball follows Grapefruit League teams in Florida. The 2025 MLB Grapefruit League season will begin on Friday, February 21, with the New York Yankees hosting the Tampa Bay Rays in Tampa. A full slate of Grapefruit League games will commence on Saturday, February 22.

On the east coast, team complexes are located in Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, St. Lucie, and Volusia counties. On the west coast, you’ll find them in Charlotte, Hillsborough, Lee, Manatee, Pinellas, Polk, and Sarasota counties.

Additionally, the “Spring Breakout” will return in 2025, featuring games from March 13 to 16 that highlight baseball’s future stars as teams showcase their top prospects in exhibition matches. Spring Breakout will begin on Thursday, March 13, with a pair of matchups featuring some of the top-ranked farm systems. Among these contests, the Tampa Bay Rays’ prospects will face off against the Boston Red Sox in Port Charlotte, Florida.

Furthermore, several crossover matchups between Grapefruit and Cactus League clubs are on the schedule. The Atlanta Braves will head to Mesa, Arizona, to take on the Chicago Cubs in two games on Monday, March 24, and Tuesday, March 25. The Colorado Rockies will also visit the Minnesota Twins on March 25 in Fort Myers, Florida.
